"Accom is 3 or 4 , windowed basement rms, sharing bath / kitchen. Basic, help yourself brkfast fare. Adequate kitchen but wierdly no drinking vessels so I used bowls. I had the large room at garden end. Very well appointed. Never caused me a problem but you could hear a few sounds from the owner's home, above. Free street pking but beware time restrictions to left of house. Easy bus then train to downtown. Easy drive to swim at Kew

and the cafe soceity on the main rd "above" it. Bit...

"Only spent one night but have been before. It’s a cute, clean, quiet hotel close to the city with parking (when other guests don’t take up multiple spots). Stayed in the

suite and it was spacious with a comfy bed. It was very quiet because it was at the back of the hotel but lots of natural light. A couple maintenance things but nothing major. Will definitely stay here again. "

"This is a great hotel in the heart of Toronto. I believe there could not be a better location, I could walk everywhere I needed to be (U of T, Eaton Centre, CN, Toronto Island Ferry, Union Station). The price for this location can not be beaten. The Rex is a legendry Jazz Bar, this means sometimes, during the evening, I could hear the Jazz downstairs, but this didnt bother me because apart from I got to hear good jazz for free, I was out every evening and the jazz had finished by 11pm.
