"I had a very disappointing experience during my 3-night stay at this hotel with my family. From the beginning, the air conditioning in our room did not work properly. It would automatically slow down and stop cooling effectively, making the room uncomfortable, especially during the night. The most concerning issue was finding a cockroach in our room. When I immediately reported it to the front desk, the staff apologized and moved us to another room. While I appreciated the room change, I was surprised that the response was limited to a simple "sorry" given the seriousness of the situation. As a family traveling with children, finding a cockroach in a hotel room raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. After the room change, I continued to express my concerns and had to complain more than once before the hotel finally acknowledged the impact of the incident and refunded the cost of one night's stay. Although the room was changed and a one-night refund was eventually provided, it did not make up for the discomfort, inconvenience, and concerns for my family's well-being during our stay. For a hotel that should prioritize guest comfort and cleanliness, this experience fell far below expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here and will not be returning in the future."

"The hotel and staff were great. One thing I didn’t like that when I was checking in, the person beside me received a little gift bag, and I didn’t. I didn’t need or want it, but I thought it was in poor taste to give it to one customer in front of another one and not offer it to the other one. The breakfast that was included with our room was amazing! Our room was quite small, otherwise I would have given the hotel a 5 star rating."

"We loved our stay at the intercontinental, the staff went above and beyond providing exceptional Customer service. We did an early check in which was much appreciated and because we were celebrating our birthdays, we were upgraded to a premium room and even received a delicious mouse bday cake delivered to the door. We also availed of the spa which was lovely. Received facials, used the pool, and hot tub area. Had tea in the spa lounge. My only concern here was that we had been looking forward to using the outdoor lounging area but it was closed for painting which meant there wasn’t much room to stay and relax in the spa area. The staff at the Intercontinental hotel and spa were top notch."
