At check-in, I was quoted and charged a different price than my booking through Expedia (it was fixed a week after check-out but was a pain). I was also informed that there would be no housekeeping unless specifically requested at least 24 hours in advance.
The three rooms we stayed in we all in varying degrees of disrepair: a tap that was not attached to the sink, a shower with no shower curtain, an A/C unit with a filter so clogged that it wouldn't blow air. a fridge with a broken handle, a TV that wouldn't turn on.
The rooms were also filthy. It was clear that the "housekeeping" were only surface-level cleans and that the rooms had not been properly deep cleaned in a VERY long time. Grime (and mold??) in all the nooks and crannies.
There was a bar/restaurant area but nobody to serve anything, so it was really just a lounge used by guests for waiting for their uber. Cold drinks and limited snacks could be purchased at the front desk, but no coffee or food of substance.
Even our uber drivers questioned why we would stay here. The one positive was that it is walking distance to Hollywood Blvd. Aside from that, would not recommend.
