I felt unsafe around this area. Garbage bins were full and overflowing in the front entrance. Carpet was absolutely filthy with dirt and stains. Dusty room. Terrible place.

Very nice stay close to two different Underground lines and Hyde Park. Staff were lovely and very accommodating for all our needs. Room was small but well laid-out so we never felt cramped despite the size. Surrounding area is fairly level so we had no problem walking between the hotel and Paddington Station, saving us the hassle of making a one-stop trip on the subway with our luggage. Shower was a bit complicated to use and the elevator rattle might be an issue for anyone with a phobia, but overall we found this to be a lovely spot for getting around to the major sights during a short five-day trip to London. Will certainly consider staying here again in the future!

Likes : close to the tube, lots of dining options, friendly staff and housekeeping , nice neighbourhood walking distance to Hyde park Areas of improvement: This hotel could improve on its decor, the furniture has been roughed up, the carpets could be cleaner. The rooms are tiny, there are little to no amenities, the TV is not a smart TV and cable is basic, rooms are NOT soundproof ( I was awoken by someone’s cell phone ringing in another room) , the toiletries are basic and not of the highest quality. I knew my room was going to be small but I thought the experience of staying at a nice hotel in Hyde park would be exemplary, sadly it was mediocre at best, akin to a Holiday Inn or ibis. I would not recommend or stay at this property again.

Disappointing Staff were not very friendly. Would rather listen to their music than serve a guest. Room was very hot and air conditioning was asthmatic Bathrooms smelt awful like drains had never been cleaned. Was coming from shower tray. Bathroom lights didn’t work. Club rooms were very small. Nice and converting for Hyde park and the tube.
