"This hotel is centrally placed in Chester. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the check-in process was fast and efficient. Our room was nice but the bath and hand wash dispensers had not been topped up (the bath wash being completely empty). There was a lot of noise from banging doors where, clearly, the fir door closures were not properly adjusted to self close. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Parking is £12 per night."

"Stayed 5 nights on a business trip. Room was clean and tidied each day, good choice of food for breakfast, friendly staff. The bed is wonderfully comfy and my room was really quiet, despite looking onto the main road. Will definitely stay again - perfect location for the Exhibition Centre and the docks. Tiny gripe - I wish they had separate conditioner and a magnified mirror in the bathroom."

"Amazing hotel whatever your metric. The concierge is named Davey, as in Crockett. And he's simply the BEST. Go ahead, ask him anything! You'll like what you hear. He's one in a million in all the best ways. Look for him. Can't say enough about our experience here"

"Super comfortable bed! Quiet room with an opening window for fresh air. Some aspects were were showing their age due to the age of the structure (cracks in ceiling types of things) but updated and decor was beautiful. Great helpful staff. Close to the train station, reasonable walk to the old city center for an average fit person. Bar was beautiful but I didn't have time to stop due to sight seeing."

"Reception / staff excellent, room spacious but building work at the back slight noisy from 08.00am. Food in the restaurant excellent and better value than eating in local restaurants. Nice pool convenient parking local."
