"Very nice the area immediatly around looks a little sketchy. But it actually very nice. Walk to five points (20 minutes) through a nice (I think middle class and working class) neigbohood, with a good fish and chips place walk to new station (12 minutes). On the other side of the train station victoria square museums etc. Near the O2 but I never heard it. Rooms are very basic, but the only thing I missed was an electric kettle, and free coffee in the lobby. Staff was great. Only problem my...

"Stayed one night for work. Really close to the NEC. Lovely gated grounds with really friendly staff. Room was a generous size with huge bed. Food was great and breakfast had a great selection of hot and continental food. Will definitely stay again! "

"Room was perfect, very good for the price. Comfortable beds, beautiful clean bathroom. I only have 3 small moans. 1-Getting to the reception area was hard as neither the lift or door to the stairs were able to be opened/used without a key card. We had to jump in the lift as someone else was getting out. 2- couldn't find the car park, it's not at all signposted, I drove up and down broad street before I gave up and parked in brinley place. I wasn't the only who couldn't find the car park. 3- there was no one working in the kitchen through the night with minimal staff at the desk, those that were at the desk were very busy checking in late guests. There was a concert at the utilita arena which alot of guests that night attended including us. A few of us were disappointed that there wasn't a full menu and had to settle for pizza or toasties, even though it's meant to be a 24/7 service. . May I suggest that when there's a big event in the city you put more staff on those days? The staff handle things really well I think. Oh and the breakfast was great! Plenty of optionwill definitely stay again "

"Was fine, room was not brilliant, but good. Bar/restaurant was good. Just wish we had been told that the annex we were in was more or less empty, as we put the car in the large car park, to walk across the road to find one car in the car park, and am it was raining. But would recommend."
