This is a great B&B and I thoroughly recommend it. It’s a central location and the parking permit is an added bonus. It makes a great base for exploring Ambleside or the wider Lake District.

Beautiful place, the rooms are really cosy and really well done out. A welcome text is provided the morning of arrival to tell you how to get your key etc and where your room is. Place was easy enough to find with adequate parking right outside. On going in there was a friendly welcoming greating and there was nothing to check-in. After check-in we were asked if would be having an evening meal which we accepted. We had opted for a larger double room and it was clean and tidy and what you would expect from a rural country inn. Location was ideal for an overnight stay on the way to Scotland. Home cooked food in the restaurant was great. Parking was very convenient.

Everything was perfect

We had such a relaxing time. Just what was needed before heading back to work next week. The Aqua thermal journey was amazing- a whole two hours with no phone, no conversation just me and my thoughts. Bliss! The food was delicious and the staff were just lovely, so welcoming and friendly. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. We paid for this with our Tesco Clubcard voucher so our whole stay cost £79 for dinner bed and breakfast for 2 nights.

The stay was very excellent there was no time limited to be in and very clean and bed was very comfortable

Excellent bed and breakfast with fantastic hosts and a perfect location for the Blackpool pride festival, stumbling distance from all of the action but far enough away for a restful nights sleep. Will definitely stay again.

Breakfast was great on both mornings, hot plates and hot food. Server couldn’t do enough for you. Used the gym, minimal but good for while you’re away from home. Couldn’t access the pool and there was never anyone on reception to speak to, took 3 attempts to check in on arrival as there was no one around, even after ringing the bell. Check out was quick and easy. Cleaners were polite and helpful as well. Room was a good size and very clean.
