Old property with visible wear and tear. Location is great but the room had a musky, damp smell. In fact, public areas were heavily masked with fragrant oils. Seems like the funky smells from the lake in front of it permeated to the rooms and absolutely affected the stay. Otherwise it would have been a lovely stay as the service was wonderful. What a pity.

Excellent service and extremely courteous staff, stay was damped by the extremely bad smell from the near by lake. The hotel could also do with renovation. Would recommend 100% if not for the lake.
