"Great location for what we wanted to (visit silent pool and Shere). Thought spa was tired looking, our room was ok and staff ok without being overly polite or helpful. Didn't realise breakfast wasn't included in price of room so had to fork out £15pp for this. Charged £20 for early check in too so overall value for money wasn't brilliant"

"We stayed for 1 night for our wedding anniversary. The hotel and grounds are fantastic and staff are very attentive. The food (dinner & breakfast) were both very nice. We stayed in room 43, a double deluxe. The room & bathroom were a nice size and clean, the bed was comfortable too. The reason we only gave a 3 is we had a really bad night's sleep due to a loud humming noise, we had the night manager up to the room to listen but he didn't know what it could be. Shame really as otherwise it would have been a great stay."

"I use Holiday inn most of the time and this stay was a bit disappointing. We arrived to an executive room and there was a bad smell as we entered the room,a smell similar to sick.We were offered a new room which was fine. Then the hot water in shower was not hot just warm.Not much option at breakfast for gluten free. This is my first disappointing visit at holiday inn."

Barnett Hill - Luxury Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent stay for the night, at a really good price compared to what was locally available and which were inferior to Barnett Hill in overall value and quality. We checked in at 23:50 without problem, and although the signage could probably be a bit clearer in terms of arrows to especially at that time of night, we found the room eventually and it was clean and well prepared. Only downside was i couldn't work out if we had hand soap for the bathroom albeit it might have been in an amenity kit. Breakfast the next day was good, the staff were excellent and the checkout was very easy. Would stay again."

"We arrived and we're upgraded which was nice. The room was clean and modern. We wanted to use the spa and had to pay £10.00 per hour pp which wasn't expected. Then the steam room wasnt very hot so that was disappointing. This should of been mentioned before we booked. The breakfast was good. Not somewhere I would visit again in a hurry. Very pricey for what it is."
