Great stay and helpful reception

Great location, nice souroundings and pool. Monica in the reception was very helpful and helped contected us with a guy (Marco) to go on a winetasting-tour for a very reasonable price. They also helped me and my friend with transportation to Montalcino, since we did not bring a car. Overall great stay, friendly staff and great service.

t hotel right near the center of town!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful and quant hotel! Upon arrival, there was a letter and our keys waiting for us with very clear instructions. We are a family of five and we comfortably stayed in the Panorama. The rooms were big, clean and exactly what we needed. There was free WiFi and helpful instructions as soon as we got there. It’s situated right next to the main plaza and we took really nice walks into town. Greve itself is so beautiful!!! The views all around the hotel are breathtaking. We will most definitely be coming back and thank Monica for her great directions. Even though we did it meet her, everything was beyond perfect. I can not recommend staying here enough!!

We stayed at Antico Pastificio with 4 other couples. Three shared one apartment and we had a two bedroom unit, all were wonderful. Third floor units have nice views of the hills & vineyards. Lovely property with on site parking, each unit has full kitchen (we made dinner for 9 one night!), you can pay to have laundry done and the grounds/pool are beautiful. Be aware this is not a hotel, it is an like a short term apartment rental, so no maid service. They do provide a wonderful basket in the room with amenities you can by like coffee, olive oil, crackers, chips, biscuits, balsamic vinegar, etc. There is also a Co-op nearby. Great location to explore Chianti, Sienna, Florence. would highly recommend vs hotel room or AirBnB. As Sandy about custom wine tours.

Fantastisk flott

Fantastisk flott sted så og si midt i Greve in Chianti. Privat parkering, stor hage og flott basseng. Stor flott leilighet med stort kjøkken og bad. Store soverom. Rent og pent. Perfekt sted.

Picturesque landscape

The grounds of the property are very beautiful. There is a pool area with grass, nice lounge chairs and furniture - perfect for relaxing and a picnic if you choose. It's at the end of a very cute roadway with a gate that leads to a nice parking area. It literally sits 50-100 meters above the town square, so walking to the wine stores, meat and cheese market or restaurants takes less then 5 minutes. The check in process was very easy as well. We arrived a bit late but all our information and key's was laid out nicely.

Rustic Italian charm

We stayed in two apartments within the building due to previous bookings already made but were given a choice of rooms to move to and both were typical rustic Italian in feel. The beds were fairly comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and each had a nice kitchen area. The outdoor pool was small but nice although it wasn’t heated and could have done with it when we stayed in May 2019. There was a small play area for the kids and a couple of BBQ’s to use. Town square is just behind the with local shops and restaurants. Parking is within the complex but make sure you go through the town square to get to the building.

Good value for apartment for four. 2 bedrooms with em suite baths. Poor lighting. No window screens... lots of mosquitoes. 🙁. Poor laundry machines.

kein Zimmer im Hotel

Hatten über Expedia ein Hotelzimmer gebucht mussten aber nach einigen Tagen feststellen dass zwar die Betten täglich gemacht wurden aber keine Mülleimer gelehrt wurden, kein Toilettenpapier aufgefüllt wurde, keine Handtücher erneuert wurden ( nach mehreren Tagen) etc Nach unserer Nachfrage wurde uns erklärt sie seien kein Hotel sondern eine Ferienwohnung. Wir hatten allerdings weder Küche noch andere Annehmlichkeiten einer Ferienwohnung sondern nur ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit Doppelbett und Kleiderschrank sowie ein winziges Bad mit Duschkabine. An einem Tag hatten wir uns zu je €35 (2 Personen) zu einem jährlichen Dinner mit Musik angemeldet. Essen und Stimmung waren gut aber alle Gänge und Getränke wurden aus Plastik Gedecken und Besteck angeboten, selbst der Eein kam aus Plastikbehältern ... und das in der Toskana. Nicht nur ein Stilbruch sondern vor allem sehr Umwelt unfreundlich... Plastik im Übermaß Sorry, dieses Haus kann ich nicht empfehlen

Perfect choice in Greve

Antico Pastificio is a perfect choice in Greve. Appartments with a lot of space, nice outdoor area, service- minded staff and in the middle of this charming village. Only negative comment is that taking a shower is a thrilling challenge with water fluctuating between 20 and 50 degr.c.

Great spot in a great town

Marcia did another great job taking care of us. this was our second time here and it may have even gotten better. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the the location could not be better for getting around Tuscany.

Beautiful hotel in an amazing place

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The hotel is located in a beautiful place in Greve, heart of Chianti. The rooms were very spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and very nice full kitchen. It also looks like medieval building (in fact, it must have been a very old authentic building) where owners kept the style but rooms were nicely upgraded. The owners also kindly upgraded us to a 2 bedroom from a 1 bedroom free of charge and without me even asking! VERY nice people who took great care of us. I definitely hope to be back!

Nice Hotel, but be aware for additional tax

Very nice city, good hotel, with big rooms, a small pool and a nice garden. However the hotel charged taxes on top of the price even if the reservation stated to include taxes

Perfect Antidote for Transatlantic Jet Lag

My wife and I spent a wonderful 7 nights recovering from jet lag after a 2 1/2 hour car journey from Rome airport in this perfect location on a recent Tuscany visit. This self-service guest house is only 60 seconds' walk from both a bodega and fruit store. So you can eat whatever you want whenever you want on the hotel's second floor balcony. Equally, you can venture into the gorgeous Chianti area of Tuscany whenever you want to sample the world-famous regional wines. Alternatively, both Florence and Siena are less than an hour's car trip away. It was perfect for us.
