"Extremely lovely little gem in the heart of old town, Istanbul. A beautifully designed hotel around a well lit courtyard. The staff is very courteous, the breakfast buffet is extensive and the location of this hotel is picture perfect being a five minute walk from the great mosques, the grand bazaar and tons of shopping and restaurants. Although the hotel has been open for many years, the maintenance and upkeep is amazing and it looks brand new. We had a suite that was large sized and perfect for our family."

"We were impressed with the staff, very friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of the room and lobby. Comfortable beds, good breakfast selection and great location with lots of restaurants. It is no more than 10 minutes to many of the sites and the tram line T1 is 5 minutes away that takes you to the sites abit farther away as well as to the other side of the Golden Horn!! This hotel is great value for the money! We highly recommend!"

"This hotel has great potential, but unfortunately it’s not being fully realised. The location is excellent, with major attractions like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque just a 10–15 minute walk away. There’s also a supermarket nearby, along with plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops within a few minutes’ walk. The staff were friendly and helpful, which was definitely a positive. However, the building itself is quite old and doesn’t seem to be well maintained. While the bed was made daily, it wasn’t always clear whether the room was properly cleaned. One thing to keep in mind: the hotel is close to other hotels and several restaurants, so it can get quite noisy—especially early in the morning and until 1am on weekends. If you’re a light sleeper or not a morning person, this might not be the best choice for you."
