I can’t really fault this place. My room was spotlessly clean and pretty spacious for Japan. The onsen was great - a nightly ritual I came to love. I didn’t eat at the hotel so no comment on the breakfast. It’s close to multiple metro lines, including trains direct to Kyoto. Easy to walk downtown or Umeda. I’d definitely stay here again with great pleasure.

An Amazing Hotel. Wonderful staff, excellent facilities and a great location. The shuttle bus service to Umeda station was very helpful. Cannot wait to return.

This hotel is a fantastic location to base yourself for universal studios japan, with views of the park. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating for us. The rooms were comfortable and modern, providing everything we needed for our stay.

Enjoyed staying here during our time on our Japan honeymoon

Staff were welcoming, wi-fi had a good connection throughout the entire time, the room itself was a nice size.

Like all my hotel stays in Japan, I received the warmest welcome. The people of Japam are so kind. They stored my suitcase and directed me to where i was going. They were patient with my basic japanese. They give you lovely pyjamas. It is a shame you cant use the baths with tatoos; however, we have to be respectful of local traditions and they were extremely polite about it when i asked them.

No bellboy to take the luggage from car or to car. Everything else was ok

Besides The Ritz Carlton (which is totally different style of decor and more old fashioned) the Intercontinental is the best luxury hotel in Osaka, situated by Umeda station in the business area. Staff all speak very good English and are very friendly. Rooms are very spacious compared to most hotel rooms in Japan, I booked a standard room and it was amazing, separate toilet and bathroom wash basins area and bath, really good amenities in room too. Nespresso coffee and teas are complimentary and...

Very friendly staff. Easy check in and check out. Big room ( standard room). Will stay again!

I love staying at this hotel! It's great to have a 7-Eleven, laundry room, and the onsen facilities in the building. They are very organized when it comes to guest check-in, baggage storage, and checkout. However, because the hotel is so large and has many guests, you always have to wait a long time for the elevators. This becomes especially tricky at checkout time when you all need to depart before 10am. The elevators will get clogged up. You have to go to the upper floors to then go down to...

Second time we’ve stayed here. The location is perfect, just a little away from the crowds and easily accessible transport links. Very helpful staff, comfy clean. Wonderful Onsen.

Great hotel, great location. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast, the only fault was the breakfast as a westerner burgers fried chicken and pork skewers and chips are not for us , no toast or scrambled egg in sight shame as this let us down.
