We usually stay in Manhattan when visiting New York but this time we decided to stay somewhere a bit different and the Bronx was certainly different. The hotel was a bit out of the way for shopping in Manhattan but there's a great shopping plaza a short bus ride away from the hotel which I'll definitely visit again. Our room was great. The room was clean and cleaned well every day, the room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, the location was great, although some might feel it is a block or two too far east, the staff/team could not have been more dependable, helpful and professional- each were real gems .For the price in Manhattan it was just what I’d hoped for. Sure it does not have a lot of extra general amenities but the room was fully kitted out and it all worked and I don’t need a spa etc . Will visit again .

The hotel itself is clean and centrally located for NYC tourism in Times Sq. the staff are great, breakfast included was a good start to each day and the price we got through Expedia was a bargain. Be warned that there is a migrant shelter directly opposite the hotel which can be intimidating as large groups hang around outside - the hotel have a regular security guard and the NYPD are outside the shelter all the time.

This was a great place to stay and explore New York! Extremely central mid-town location, next to a subway and walking distance from mid-town attractions. The rooms were huge for New York and well-appointed. The staff were a highlight, lovely and friendly, regardless of who was on shift. This is a fabulous hotel in a great location for pounding the streets of NYc. So close to Penn station. On arrival I was told about all the amenities that were included with the fee and the water and cookies were great. The rooms are small but that is NYC! Definitely be fine for 2 people. Great bathroom The bed was so comfortable and I slept really well and didn’t hear any noise from the streets. A great place to stay

Chose this hotel as it was so close to everywhere we wanted to visit and was considerably cheaper than anything else in the area. Because of this I was expecting it to be a bit shabby. But it was great. Our room was spotless, the kitchen area had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The only negative was the AC unit was very loud. Luckily we stayed here in the autumn but summer.... you may need ear plugs.
