We vacationed to New York with our adult daughter! Upon arriving to this hotel we were pleasantly greeted. The front desk an Asian man (sorry I didn’t get his name) upgraded us to a balcony room. Very kind gesture. It was nice to have a balcony to sit out and see New York when we were in the room. The staff is very kind and helpful! The rooms were small but very comfortable. The bell hop were so kind and helpful, especially Shafik( sorry I didn’t remember how to spell it) Michael too! We looked for Michael to give him a tip but he has gone home, sorry Michael. Great hotel! Very convenient close to grand central and Park avenue for walking. Thank you! Good dinners at Patsy’s and for breakfast and lunch at Townhouse Diner both within walking distance. Thank you again!!

I was a bit disappointed by the actual rooms. When we first arrived, the room was so tiny, not like the ones we saw on the website. There was only one working light, and a big picture of a man and woman which we didn’t like. The property was definitely clean and all the staff members were kind except one, who seemed to be annoyed of helping us. After seeing the first room and not being satisfied, I asked if there was anything we could do to get a different room with more space and actual lighting. She helped with that but she had a stank face the entire time. When I originally called the company, I was told we could get as much water bottles as needed, but that same member at the property said we would have to get them from the vending machines and to pay extra. I don’t know her name but she was a tall woman with blonde hair and European features. One thing I wasn’t fond off was having to pay the additional resort fee ($30 per night) when the property did not have a resort and we didn’t receive any of its’ “extras”. It didn’t even have a little cafe or coffee shop… Just a bar. It was very unfair and ridiculous that we paid so much extra for no additional features… Overall, despite the little bumps we had. The rest of the staff were super nice and helpful, and the property was clean.

First time in NYC. Hotel was conveniently located for ease of walking or using Subway. Hotel staff were happy to tell you good places to go eat that were local. Definitely would stay here again
