"Room was large and clean, bed comfortable. Lots of glasses and room service trays in all the corridors. Hotel desperately needs refurbishing, no atmosphere or style to the place. Shame as a waste of a potentially beautiful building "

"We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

"Really lovely quiet hotel with a small but enjoyable swimming pool and great breakfast. We had a family room with two double beds which was spacious for the four of us (two adults and two kids 9 and 12). Lovely stay and perfect for our visit to Stratford-upon-Avon. "

My only small sadness was that they have removed their vegetarian breakfast from the menu, which meant we sadly were not able to enjoy breakfast there during our stay, but it wouldn’t stop me going back as there were plenty of other options around.
