"Love staying here. Was sent an email a day prior to our stay and was told I could put a bid in for an upgrade. As my deal included an upgrade if available I didn’t make an offer. Was very disappointed when Iwe were told no chance of an upgrade. Surprised as it was the day b4 and it was a midweek stay. Otherwise enjoyable. "

"The receptionist that welcomed us was super helpful (he’s from Germany). The only thing I found was that the dishes were not clean so I suggest you clean the dishes after guests regardless as the bowl and wine glasses were not washed properly."

"Boutique refers to the fine character of this heritage feel hotel. Cute rooms with personality. The lavender gardens and cobble stone surrounds set the tone for old world European style breakfast well worth the small price. Will be staying here again."

"Very nice corner room on the second floor. Queen Victoria Market ( a must see) only a 2 minute walk away, very walkable location. Wonderful staff. Only negative was that our rental car was broken into while parked at the recommended off site lot. The front desk staff and MOD were very caring and helpful assisting us through the process. Thank you again. "

"We had a base room and it was lovely and roomy. Staff very friendly. Had dinner in restaurant and had a good meal. Lots of options from snacks to 3 courses. Had an early morning international flight and was a stress free way to start holiday. Definitely recommend "
