I was there in September and the region was very busy with hikers, cyclists, drivers etc and the hotel was an excellent base. The staff were superbly professional and polite - they showed us to our room before formally checking us in so we could get settled while they worked away, thought this was a nice touch. Free, secure underground parking for our motorcycle too. The restaurant & food was excellent and the new addition of the bar is very nice. Also the free spa was terrific! "The dining experience was excellent. Homemade meals were well planned and convenient. Ski bus directly at the front door made for easy access to nearby ski resorts. Spa and wellness center was exceptional."
