The walk up was a little challenging with our bags in tow. Visited Positano and while it is lovely, we much preferred Amalfi - restaurants were cheaper and it was less crowded. Bus transportation between towns is an adventure- recommend using the ferries."

"Wonderful hotel in regards to cleanliness, staff. Spectacular views but this location doesn’t work unless you have a car. 25 minutes walking on a narrow, curvy road. Breakfast is great and included. We stayed in April so is a low season for this area. I wish they would offer a bar and at least some antipasto since there are no restaurants near by. Other than that is a wonderful place. Managment helpful and cordial. "

"Hotel Del Mare is very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping areas. The roof deck is amazing at sunset. The breakfast room is lined in stone and gives a grotto feel. Food is good too. Staff are very accommodating. "

"Very nice boutique family run Hotel, the hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly! Rooms are large and traditional to the area, views of the city and ocean are insanely good! There is a Rooftop deck with a Hot Tub and a patio which we took tons of pictures. The hotel is walkable to the city, but there is also a bus that stops in front!!! Family of 5 would definitely recommend!!!"

"The room was small but had everything a larger room would have. There was also a balcony with double doors, fridge with the usual, marble bathroom and comfortable bed. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant and none close around other than pizza and pastry shops. "

"Excellent location on the main road, with the bus stop about 2 minutes from the hotel. This bus will take you to Amalfi or to Positano or Sorrento. Beautiful view out to the water from our room, which also overlooked the historic church across the road. A wide variety of excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk. 2 supermarkets close by on the main road as well. Excellent staff who were very welcoming and friendly. Continental breakfast included which was fresh and tasty. Room was a good...
