"excellent food , location and shopping."
Arrived from Melbourne on the 13th April and stayed 1 week. Choose the Tawana for its location and was not disappointed . Location is close to everything and the Japanese food is excellent. Room was a junior suite and the space was great. My wife likes to shop and she had no trouble finding what she wanted. Only down side if you call it that is the hotel is close to Patong Night market and there is other activities which isn't shopping. breakfast was buffet and doesn't change so can be a bit boring. We love the fruit so it wasn't a problem.

"Best Time In Bangkok"
It says this is a 3 and a half star hotel, but I would call it 5. It was like having my own quality apartment in the heart of Bangkok. I stayed here for three nights and loved every second, even spent a night in with my girlfriend to cook Thai food from the supermarket. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Ideal for our family"
We needed two nights in Bangkok at the start of our holiday. We wanted a good clean hotel, near night markets/places to eat. Also wanted a pool for the family to relax. This hotel was perfect in all respects for that. Massive room and good value.

"Pool, gym and sauna open at 6AM"
The Bandara Suites Silom is about a 7 to 10 minute walk from the Sala Daeng BTS stop. If you have never been there before, do a google maps search and have directions on how to find the place. On week days, you walk through food street vendors and can get a fancy coffee drink for about 75 cents US. The reason I stay here every time I visit Bangkok is for the pool area which is opened at 6AM which is unheard of for most hotels. Most hotels open up their pool area at 8 or 9AM. The only drawback is the jacuzzi does not get heated until 3pm, sometimes 2PM. It does retain warmth but isn't the same as being fully heated all the time. The sauna is also kept off but it heats up in 15 minutes. Go check your facebook in the business lounge next door. There is also a meeting space downstairs if you want to have a private business meeting.

"Excellent hotel for the price."
this hotel is perfectly located right at the Sala Daeng Sky train station, at the beginning of Silom Rd, one of the hottest areas of the city. Feels like a 5 star hotel, (or is it?) for a 4 star price. My room had a balcony to Silom avenue and the park where the latest protesters have been confined, so I could witness the speeches and conmotion day and night. Nothing bothersome about it by the way. The hotel is elegant and makes a great impression upon entering. Has truly many restaurants to choose from, including a cafeteria on the ground floor that sells sandwiches and treats all day long, and that I found perfect for a late day breakfast, at a street price. Service is great. Staff friendly and accomodating.

"Highly recommended"
We loved our stay in this hotel, it was a pleasant surprised after our stay at another hotel in Nana which was awful and for the same price. We were upgraded on arrival. The room was amazing, extremely clean, a beautiful glass bathroom with bath and shower, a couch, free internet in the room, control of the AC, and a comfortable bed. The only inconvenience was that we were given two beds pushed together rather than one causing a slight hole effect and that the balcony door was permanently locked. The reception service was very good although it got very busy due to the popularity of the hotel. The breakfast was good although the boiled eggs were sometimes from the day before. The hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the train station which was a bit long with the bags but otherwise the location was clean with a nice cafe nearby and a few good restaurants, it is also not far from Siam. Overall we were very happy with our stay, it was good to finally get a good night's sleep!

"Convenient hotel and happening"
I am a business traveller who need to travel to Bangkok quite often. As most of my trip are short, I therefore have to make use of my time effectively i.e. to go for business in the morning and shopping at night. Overall this hotel is extremely convenient. Hotel staffs are helpful especially when you need to call a taxi. This hotel is just by the roadside but many might miss it as it is rather small. Therefore you may need to look for Burger King as it is right beside. Right above the hotel is Saladaeng BTS which enable easy access to places like Sukhumvit and more. Opposite the hotel is Silom Complex for our shopping need. At night, we can visit the nearby Patpong night market, get food and foot massage along the road easily that opens until after mid-night. There is even a 24hr money exchange service and 24hf McDonald just few door steps away from the hotel.
