The hotel is a good hotel but with a few changes could be excellent.
The rooms are spacey with nice views and the beds very comfortable BUT the lifts are a total nightmare with queuing and overcrowding commonplace.
We stayed 3 nights and didn’t get our room cleaned once. Housekeeping seemed over loaded with too much work on. We called down for extra towels to use the pool and I’m still waiting for those!
There’s not enough sun beds at the pool. We didn’t get to use one at all during our stay which isn’t ideal for a winter sun break!
Breakfast is in the sister hotel next door which is strange because they won’t let you use the pool in this hotel…….

We really enjoyed staying at Mandarin Oriental in KL. The staff were super nice and the concierge helped us bring our luggage upstairs. Check in was simple and there was a welcome drink and cooling wet towel provided. Room was very spacious and king bed was very comfortable. We didn’t want to leave the room

We had a fantastic time, amazing breakfast and service, the place starts to look a bit old and might need an update. The restaurant had a good choice but the food was not as good as experienced around the country. The staff was so good and helpful.
