"Good choices for breakfast, limited choice of lunch and dinner menus, but reasonable prices. Room was clean, and stocked with teas, coffee and water. Lovely, well kept grounds. Spa facilities adequate. Ladies changing room could benifit from more private changing areas."

"On arrival checking in was easy reception staff very helpful.We had a first floor room which was clean,shower over bath was not brilliant.The room had a fusty smell as though it had been smoked in or damp???? Dinner was very good really delicious and piping hot.Breakfast would have been brilliant if it had been piping hot but it was just warm! "

"The breakfasts were fine, not exceptional but aboce average. The staff were all really good and went out of their way to be helpful. The bar was well stocked and one barman in particular was very good. The room was well equipped and spotless, the bed was comfortable. "

"The room and bathroom were very clean, as was the hotel in general. Our only disappointment was the standard of service at breakfast; whilst the food was excellent the service left a bit to be desired and the waitress was thoroughly miserable. She appeared to focus on table cleaning around us rather than being attentive to guests’ needs. Thankfully our breakfast was not contaminated by the cleaning fluid that she was using at an adjacent table."
