"No chef for breakfast or evening meals. We went to Morrisons but the breakfast was not very good. No breakfast the following day as well! We got ยฃ20 back and the cost at Morrisons, but we should have received ยฃ40 which would have been the cost for two breakfasts at the hotel. We ended up going out ..."โ€ฆ"

    Excellent twin room with two double beds and plenty of space around the beds. Also table and chair provided plus a desk and chair. Facilities as expected from a 4 star. Only downside was the fact that the room was showing signs of needing a facelift. Also one lift was not working. Not a problem for me as only 3 floors but delayed my elderly mother.โ€ฆ

    This was a decent hotel for the price. The decor was generally a bit dated but it looked like steps were being taken to freshen the room I stayed in. It was a tad noisy outside but that's not unusual in a central location and to be expected. The room walls were bit thin and noise seemes to travel. I raised a few minor points just after checkin and a manager came to my room shortly after to resolve these. The staff were polite, helpful and efficient.โ€ฆ

    Great location with reasonably priced albeit not particularly secure parking. Room was new and fresh bar the shower head which was a bit broken and fired water out of the side. Bed was comfy and it was really quiet at night... Miguel on the front desk was really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a massive free for all with people waiting for sausage, eggs and potatoes to be ready... tough to complain as it is complimentary but staff seemingly not got the backing to provide the appropriate volume but like I said... itโ€™s free.โ€ฆ
