"I have let this simmer before writing just to calm down a bit. This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had using hotels.com. This is an Marriott property, however it is a chain from Mexico that Marriott has acquired. Entry to building had overflowing trash can that stunk, attendant had tats all over his face/ ok fine/ to each their own but he was also open carrying a pistol on his pants. Arizona is an open carry state, but this was quite alarming at a Marriott property. Agent was completely unwilling to help with a incorrect booking, flat out refusing to answer the hotels.com agent calls that were coming through while I was standing there and was defiant and basically rude about how he could not help. I have never felt fearful in any hotels.com property until this one. I’d bypass it at all costs of possible. Felt like I was in a really bad movie."
