A good hotel for a game of 5. Comfy, quiet rooms, with a good hot breakfast and free parking. It's right in a shopping area with a bus right outside and the train a 20 minute walk that takes you into Grand Central station in 30 minutes. For a having of 5 it was $21 each way. You can park at the station for a fee of around $15 but we just walked.
Would stay again

Staff were very friendly. Good location, close to train station. Good selection at breakfast and a helpful member of staff at hand. Room was clean however the carpet was grubby.

Best hotel in the area. Tony’s restaurant is a destination in itself. Fabulous stay. Can’t count how many times we have booked. It’s our go to in Connecticut.

Very large room, with a microwave, fridge and coffee making. Shame there was no tea. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the winter when I got there in early September, despite temperatures being in the high 20s C. The "boutique fee" on my bill was a surprise $15/day to cover the, coffee machine, microwave, etc. It's a ploy to get more money out of you without paying the tax.

Staff were friendly and accomodating, the breakfast is very generous, the waffles made on the spot was a nice touch. Water pressure in the showers was great and the room was clean. Thanks for also holding my luggage for a few hours after check out since I have a late night Flight. Jocelyn, Willie and Valentine were great.

We usually stay in Manhattan when visiting New York but this time we decided to stay somewhere a bit different and the Bronx was certainly different. The hotel was a bit out of the way for shopping in Manhattan but there's a great shopping plaza a short bus ride away from the hotel which I'll definitely visit again. Our room was great. We had a kitchen with a huge fridge, dish washer and microwave. There's a Stop and Shop supermarket just up the road, the hotel has a laundry room so you can...

All the staff were really pleasant and helpful. Central heating very noisy as was the fridge freezer. The young lady serving breakfast (whose name I think was Tyrone) was exceptional) was definitely up for praise she was fantastic. Would stay there again next time I’m in the area
