"Enjoyed the stay, room 401, (wheelchair accessible) we found having to move the kettle to the other side of the room to get an electricity supply quite irritating when there must be a supply nearer to power the fridge. Also the lighting is inadequate particularly to see into the deep drawers near the door. The wet room has the best non slip floor we have ever found."

The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom sink was almost blocked but we mentioned it to reception and I got the clear impression they would deal with it immediately! "We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."
