"Good location, received clear instructions and room was quiet and was overlooking a small garden. The bed was a bid wobbly though. Pictures gave the impression of a higher quality accommodation. It was overall okay but not fully what I expected."

stayed here with my husband for our first wedding anniversary from 21/4/23 til 25/4/23
breakfast was amazing each morning my husband especially loved the Scottish breakfast and I tried it as well and to my surprise loved haggis when I had it in England I didn't like it but loved it on your Scottish breakfast.
the coffee was lush and the breakfast set us up for the day.

We enjoyed our stay at KM apartments. Lovely location and had everything we needed.
The only issue we had was that our room was positioned directly above a loading bay, which unfortunately made a very loud noise/shook the room when deliveries were made, and woke us up for quite a while around 5/6am on the Sunday.
However, we had no problems the next morning and we were only there 2 nights. Likely only an issue on weekends, and only for that room.

Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Roberto- who recommended us places and was super friendly while checking in.
We really enjoyed our stay with KM Central hotel and definitely will be back when visiting Edinburgh again.

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. Thank you so much.

Loved our stay here. Apartment was incredible, we could stay in it all day! Our favourite location in Edinburgh for bars restaurants etc. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Cant wait to return.

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!

Check in excellent. Room not too bad although being at the rear of hotel our room looked directly onto multi story building site and they started work very early. One one chin in room which was poor for a top end room. Bar and lounge could be more comfortable. Overall. Hotel was ok but very very very expensive.

I can't fault the hotel, the staff, the bar, the food or the price.
Staff were young but knowledgable. Food was simple but delicious. The bar had inventive twists on drinks (Negronis with port replacing Martini Rosso? A hot chocolate with Remy Martin?)
If you're looking for a hotel that is bang in the centre of Edinburgh, look elsewhere. This is in the beautiful area of Stockbridge, 20min walk or 5 min bus ride from Princes St.
We'll stay here again. Loved it.

Wonderful stylish hotel just opened so very clean and fresh. My room was an apartment with kitchenette (I don't think there is a dining room), high quality spacious bathroom and very high speed WiFi. Staff pleasant, location central and good bar/cafe area. I wanted to stay longer and will definitely stay next time.

What are some popular Southside hotels with balconies?
The Salisbury Hotel is a top hotel featuring a minibar and free WiFi in guestrooms.
What can I expect from my stay in Southside?
Dreaming of a relaxing holiday in Southside with nice views to boot? Treat yourself to one of our hotels with balconies and enjoy the panorama from the privacy of your room.
What should I see and do while I'm in Southside?
After you've taken in the view from your balcony, grab your comfy shoes and hit the streets to explore Southside. Get started by taking a look at Queen's Hall, Festival Theatre and Royal Commonwealth Pool. A few other sites and attractions to discover include Potterrow Student Centre, National Library of Scotland and Dynamic Earth.
Is it worth paying more for a room with a balcony in Southside?
There are lots of reasons why staying in a guestroom that includes a balcony may be a good idea. Take in the views of Southside and sunbathe outside without having to leave your room. If you are on a trip with young children, put your feet up on the balcony while they are watching TV inside. If you're holidaying as a couple, you might want a guestroom with a patio so you can spend some peaceful time together outside enjoying the view.
