"PROS: Beautiful hotel with amazing views. From the moment we got there felt like vacation. Huge pool and direct beach access. The staff at the beach were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially Elijah and Gigi. The food at the beach was absolutely spectacular, the cerviche was some of the best I've ever had. And the food at the hotel restaurant Mareva was outstanding. Go for the chef's tasting- it is worth it! CONS: Major cons are the added fees. I hate add on fees and would rather hotels just be up front about the cost of the stay. There is a $50 resort fee per day as well as a $50 parking fee per day. Really upped the cost from what I was expecting. Also given the price I was surprised they didn't have app services available on the TV, only Netflix, which I don't have an account for so couldn't watch TV, had to watch on my phone. I also have a problem paying extra for the "resort fee" when features aren't available. For example, we didn't get to use the pool chairs that are included in the fee; they ran out of room. The staff was very gracious about it, and the beach was amazing. But the principle... OVERALL: Would recommend. The amenities, the food, the whole experience are great, just be mindful the price is actually $100 more a day between the resort fee and parking. If I had been psychologically prepared for that it wouldn't have bothered me as much. "
