"The neighborhood around the hotel was a bit rough but the hotel itself was nice, comfortable, and secure. Their (included) daily breakfast buffet was cooked up fresh with several tasty options. "I travel to Stamford regularly and have stayed at several hotels, including Hampton Inn, Hilton, Hyatt Regency and Marriott. The Stamford was as good as any of them with an easier location "

"This hotel is really a conference or special event venue. My husband and I stayed there because of its proximity to Glen Cove hospital where had surgery. The place was empty off season and we got a great rate. The pubic rooms are gorgeous; a reminder of the grand old days of high society on the “Gold Coast”. Breakfast is included and excellent, including bagels and lox, very popular on Long Island. "
