"Hotel was great and in a great location. The building is obviously an older property and it shows in some places, but no complaints. The only problem was that the hotel smelled like weed on every floor we visited (room on 6, cousins room on 5, and pool on 4). While I don’t have an issue with smokers in general, the “smoke free” hotel rule is NOT enforced. When my cousin complained, they brought Lysol to add fragrance to her room and recommended she open the window, saying they can’t enforce the rule at all… I would stay there again for the price, but it would have been nice to know about this beforehand."

"If you want the experience of staying in an historic building close to the Alamo and Riverwalk, this would be the perfect place to stay. The only downside to staying here is that they offer no turn down service and either you pay $49.00 a day for valet parking or try to find a close parking spot. If you need to complain about the service at the hotel or restaurant, do not bother because it falls on deaf ears!"

"Wonderful experience all around. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. A delicious Old Fashion in the bar. Great coffee every morning. We even had the front desk helped us with a room for a friend at the very last minute! The weekend was perfect. Thank you"

"There were some slight issues when we checked in for the women’s convention. But they were fixed fairly quickly. The Breakfast was good for free breakfast. Just wish they could’ve changed up some of the meats (other than sausage) and breads and muffins. Mr. Matt was amazing and I really appreciated him and his Customer Service at the front desk."

"I was very disappointed in the fact of how early the pool closed the whole reason I stayed at that hotel instead of a nicer one were my son had stayed was because it has a hot tub but I never got to use it because it closed at 10 that's way too early especially when I had to pay an extra $10 to even park there which I don't understand at all I rented your room were I also have to pay to park and didn't get to enjoy the hot tub yeah I don't think I'll be staying again"

"Room was clean. On Sunday morning we had no HOT water to shower. Had deadlines.staff was not friendly at check-in. Golf course price was too expensive for the shape the course was in compared to another high end resort we stay at. Spa was great. Unfortunately, we will not return."
