We arrived at the hotel just after 2 am. We booked a room for two people. My daughter did end up traveling with us, as we were there for my husband’s father’s funeral. I asked the front desk clerk if we could upgrade our room. He advised that there were full. As we were getting ready to leave, my husband said he would stay somewhere else so my daughter and I could have the room. The clerk then advised the he was refusing to check us in, because my husband would sneak back into the hotel. This was not attempted by us in anyway. Had he checked us in, then if we tried this, I could understand them then asking us to leave. So I then requested a refund sense he was refusing service and he told me no, we would still have to pay for the two nights. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone! If you want the best service go to the Doubletree by Hilton San Antonio. They are willing to go above and beyond to help you!
