"AC was broken, had to get small fans to help with the heat. Pool towels are put out 1-2 at a time and only put out a couple of times a day. Breakfast was ok 1 of the days, however very inconsistent. Some days, over half of the breakfast items were missing (i.e. milk, orange juice, fruits, cheese for the eggs, yogurt, peanut butter and jellies for toast and more). Room was pretty well clean and staff were amazing!"

"I am writing to bring several concerns to everyone's attention regarding my recent stay at the La Quinta in downtown San Antonio. Unfortunately, the condition of the room fell well below the level of cleanliness and maintenance that I expected. Upon arrival, I noticed multiple issues that suggested the room had not been properly cleaned. There were thick red stains on the sofa chair, food crumbs on the pull-out couch, and additional crumbs throughout the carpet. The bathroom also appeared dirty, and the towels provided were yellowed and did not appear clean. In addition, the room had a strong humid or musty smell that made the environment uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the television in the room did not work during our stay. These issues collectively created a disappointing experience. Additionally, a friend staying in the room next to mine reported that when they arrived, there was feces left in the toilet, which is extremely concerning from a sanitation standpoint. I reached out via email to let them know and they just responded with a standard reply and no one reached out. This was probably the worst hotel stay that my family and I have experienced. Shorten it for a corporate complaint to the brand."

"Breakfast was good. The hotel is lovely, and the server staff at the restaurant, particularly Francisco, was amazing. Bed not the comfiest. Toilet always took at least 2 flushes. Shower did not drain well and had more than a bit of mold. Elevator intermittently went to my floor. Hot tub was nice but not so hot. Spa is not even close to a luxury spa in my experience! Extremely overpriced with mediocre massage at best and gratuity included whether you enjoy your massage or not. "
