We ended up here due to last minute changes because of the storms. As it work out, this was very fortuitous. The location was fantastic for the beach, midway between the airport and the old town (port for cruise ships) and in a safe gated community. There was also lot of restaurants, shops and cafes within walking distance. We stayed twice in different rooms, both had balconies and outdoor toilets and showers (en-suite); and we would recommend these rooms. Other rooms have shared...

As soon as we arrived you can feel like home, so close to the beach (they have from 10am umbrellas and chairs from the hotel on the beach) very happy!!

Super stay at Palacio Provincial. Lovely building, rooms are classic Puerto Rican. We had a Deputy room and it was great - Juliette balcony overlooking the street. Pool on roof was a bonus and roof deck was great - beautiful views and a great place to round the evening off. All the staff were great, very friendly and helpful. And the location is superb right in the middle of the old town - easy walk to anywhere and plenty of cabs if you want to go further. Great stay all round.

Staff welcoming even though we arrived really late due to flight, open bar welcome surprise, well placed, central to anything we wanted to see, this was a room booked before taking a cruise and perfectly suited our needs. building a little a tired and no lift/elevator

Clean, great roof terrace & pool, friendly staff, great location. Hi spec & recently refurbished

The Casa was an excellent choice to stay in the heart of Old San Juan. The room was lovely and spacious. I had to request the room to be cleaned on the Saturday but only the bathroom was done and the bed was not made. I thing there was a different cleaner at the weekend. During the week the was done properly. I would recommend and I would return. Beautiful house.
