Very nice hotel if you don't want to be in the busy city. Great hotel to unwind. Sea view room had exceptional views of Barcelona. Shuttle bus three times a day but last one back to hotel 16.30,so taxi is the only way home in the evening, varying in cost from 16 - 26 euros!! Staff very friendly & helpful, especially Patricia on front desk & Abel the concierge. Hotel expensive for drinks & food, I expect to pay more at 5*, however 19euros for a pizza & 5 euros for tea is rather steep,...

Stunning set up with the whole interior of the 27 floors open to the outside with hanging gardens filling the whole space. The glass lift ride to the top is worth the price of the room alone. The room was super modern and very comfortable but the best part is the rooftop pool and bar with ample sun beds (though little shade) and the most incredible view of almost all of the city.

Great hotel, clean and tidy with comfortable rooms. Shame the bus to the airport doesn’t run all day.

When you don't know and area and there's so many to choose from it's can always be a bit hit or miss, but this was definitely a hit. It's décor is a bit Marmite, but we loved it!

Lovely hotel, clean everyehere, good beds, helpful staff, breakfast was good with lots of choices. Evening meal in restaurant was relaxed and the shoulder of lamb was really good. Nice area, near a large indoor shopping centre. The hotel is 15 minute walk to nearest rail station. Then 45 minutes into Barcelona. Worth the journey so youre out of the busy Barcelona

Short city break to Barcelona, lots of good trips and things of interest to explore, lovely food and friendly people

Catalonia Hotel is well located within walking distance of Casa Battlo and Las Ramblas and some great restaurants. The hotel still retains its newly refurbished feel ( done two years ago ). Having 78 bedrooms the hotel has a small hotel feel, but larger hotel facilities ( small gym, small pool and nice terrace its a good size and the bedroom. The decoration of the hotel was superb in our view, with a modern but luxurious feel. We didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food, but free...

my fourth trip to Barcelona, having stayed in different hotels each time, to be fair all have been good. Catalonia port is my favourite one so far , i will return here next time , friendly helpful staff , hotel very clean and comfortable . hotel is in my favourite location - just off the bottom of la rambles, near the beautiful beach which is only about a 15 mins stroll along the harbour . being so close to la ramblers ( approx 5 min stroll ) which is crammed with people and noise most of...

We stayed for 2 nights. Well maintained nice hotel.

Great value for money. I will definitely recommend

Great location and facility.

We eventually found the hotel , a little bit confusing trying to navigate around the Plaza Catalunya and the various Metro exits. It is a haven of peace and tranquility amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is perfect for sightseeing excellent access to the metro and a bus service only 40 minutes to the airport leaving every 15 minutes. We were able to extend our room until 3 pm on the last day which was great !! Lovely modern decor good lifts , very comfortable bed, we had a...

Enjoyed the stay .

Easy to get about from the hotel on foot or Metro. Lots of restaurants nearby off main thoroughfare. Brilliant café called Mauri, excellent for breakfasts.
