We were impressed from the beginning of our stay at the Paxton through to the very end. The hotel is run efficiently from reception , through to the restaurant, bar staff, ( particularly Juan !) and the amazing house keeping staff. It was such a pleasure to walk back into our room every day to find it immaculately clean and tidy.

Location is perfect close to beach and mainstreets.
It's the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. They have a lot of cleaning people, cleaning kitchen, toilets and shower rooms regularly.
I really appreciated this as I was nervous to stay in a hostel because I like clean toilets/showers.
The beds were comfortable and have privacy curtains on each bunk and your own bed light, 1electric socket, 2 usb charging connectors.
A lot of space in the kitchen to cook and store some food in the cupboards...

Quiet and safe location nicely positioned just a little away from the centre, close to beach, close to metro and buses, close to Poble Nou area with many restaurants and cafes etc. Comfy bed, clean, did exactly what we expected and we think very good value. This was our fourth visit. Hotel 4 is our first choice hotel for a 4* stay in Barcelona.

We stayed for 8 nights. The apartment was nice and clean and had a modern feel. As the floor was polished concrete, I recommend packing some slippers. If you stay over 6 nights, your room will be cleaned once. Dustpan and brush are provided so you can sweep up in between. The apartment has air conditioning. You get an iron, hairdryer also. If you're coming from colder climates to Spain, a mosquito repellent is a must! I don't mean the sprays, you must buy a plug in for the wall socket. The...

Lovely room which fitted bill and clean. Could also airplay Netflix or YouTube via phone / tablet to tv if you want to one evening too. Two lifts so never need to wait too long.
