"Very friendly staff. Room was very clean and new. Nice bathroom and nice amenities. Close to Nishiki Market and many shrines. Only issue was ordered food at executive lounge took awhile to be prepared. However, a small issue. I would stay here again without hesitation!"

"If you are walking, look for the underground passage-way from the subway to the hotel for easier rolling of luggage. The hotel itself is very beautiful, decorated in moody, dark tones. The shared bath was very nice. You can easily walk to shopping or Gion area. "

"Close to Potoncho Alley with access to many dining, shopping and activities. The hotel service and staff were great! Thoughtful amenities offered too. "

"The room was comfortable, tasteful, taller ceiling, but could be a little dark at night. The mini refrigerator was convenient, but without a microwave it meant more drinks than actual food, unless it was already cold, like a dessert. Having a small table and chairs was a nice treat to sit down and eat in the room. The place was filled with more foreigners than locals. There is an app you can get to use the public washer and dryer for your clothes, but be aware everyone is trying to use it too. This was a nice choice to get to most of the shopping and tourist areas. If you wanted to wander further into normal neighborhoods with smaller mini marts, that wasn’t too far either. It was definitely a nice place to stay."
