Staff was very pleasant, room was large except for bathroom which was very tiny, especially for a double. I had to stretch across the sink to turn on the shower. Carpet had some nasty stains and bathtub had a gross peeling finish which needed major repair. Signs in bathroom asked us to hang our towels to save on water. Great, but there was only one towel rack for bath towels and no ventilation for towels to dry. Bed linens were clean and towels were decent quality.

We stayed in a junior apartment and the accommodations were perfect for two adults and two teenage children. The pull-out couch was not made when we arrived and the phone to reach the front desk did not seem to work but a staff person in the hallway quickly provided the sheets that we needed. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for the graduation we were attending at Radio City Music Hall.

The hotel shut off air conditioning so the room was hot the entire stay.. front desk people were rude I was told to open a window.. worst sonesta I’ve ever stayed at… I’m a gold member and will be using points and never use them again

The decor in my room was nice, but it was a very depressing room that I did not want to spend much time in. Some if the furniture was cheap snd scuffed. The ‘window’ looked out on a mechanical shaft between the next building. Could see bo sky. The other building was so close shades had to be down at all times. Tiny bathroom. If you want to be in a dark, confined box, this is your place. The fitness room has no windows. The door to it is solid and the room itself is in a tucked away corner. As a woman, I do not feel safe in such a place you could be dead in there for days and no one would find you. There is a ‘snack bar’ but that means candy and chips. There was no water for sale the day I arrived. The desk person said they might have done the next day. You have to go to the front desk each morning and get a voucher to eat in the continental breakfast room. Very inconvenient. Costs an extra $20 they have yogurt but only Activia- the ‘irregularity’ brand. The people were nice. Definitely better than the nearby Hilton I stayed in before, but d
