"Great location, friendly and courteous staff, nice Bar. Just make sure to get a room not facing Pacific street nor the wide alley between the buildings and stay in the main building. I am coming here for many years during Monterey Car week. I tried occasionally other Hotels but this is my favorite during Car week. The only negative are the high Valet parking fees, especially during the car week every August"

"Great location- walking distance to mall- 10 min to Carmel and downtown Monterey. Fireplace in room was great. Nice pool and hot tub. Free parking! we really enjoyed our stay and will be back"

"Room nice and clean. Quite noisy location. Didn’t have a chance to use the pool but all everything looked fine. Check in and out was simple. Location good for our road trip. Beds quite firm."

"Love how it’s walking distance from the aquarium & it’s in the middle of all the stores . Staff were super friendly and helpful they have self parking ( you can ask for a paper map to get to it it’s just a block away) . Love how they had multiple entrances to the other side of the building so you don’t have to walk to the main entrance if your room is on the other side. Security measures are good too you need your room key to enter those other entrances ! I also love that they offer baby crib for me it was super helpful for my 8 month old ! Love the adjustable ac as well ( I get hot really easily ) I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay a couple nights :)"
