Walking distance to all restaurants, shops, and beach (if you want to walk the hill) The bar brought some extra midnight noise but if you don’t mind that, and are a hard sleeper, or in a room not next to it, you’re probably fine. "We loved our stay at the Quail Lodge. I actually went with my family many years ago and this time returned with my husband. We did reserve a room with a golf pond view and it was the best choice. The pond had a peaceful water fountain that the birds just lived. Sitting and relaxing in the sun was all we needed that day. Rooms are charmingly old and have everything one could ever need. The bed was so comfortable I’m actually looking into the mattress they use. We ate twice at the restaurant and because we entered dinner close to closing hours it was a bit rushed. The food was delicious and we were pleased. Breakfast came with our booking and was very enjoyable with wonderful coffee. The room had gives, slippers, water, all the toiletries one could need. A seperate tub and walk in shower. Bathroom was huge. I’m planning a trip to the lodge now for my girlfriend and her husband. She is a avid golfer and I’m sure they will love it! "
