One of my favorite places to visit. One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to and that it's dog friendly makes it extra special. Carmel also has great restaurants and shops.

Carmel is a quaint town. It explodes during car week but otherwise is quiet and beautiful. Worth a visit.
"Very friendly staff and beautiful property. Only thing lacking was decent in room coffee and creamer choices, we were thinking that was so we would come down and purchase it in their restaurant. One bit of advice I would give is to request a room away from the pool; our room faced it and it was a rowdy crowd right up until closing time; so loud we couldn't properly enjoy our movie. Still a great stay and if we are ever able to come back we would stay there again. "
"Everything was top notch start to finish only draw back for us is they don’t allow dogs. This time we couldn’t bring her but next time we will. So will need another spot 😞"
"Loved out stay at Tradewinds! So close to everything, but also far enough away to be a quiet retreat! The rooms are large with comfy bed, and a large patio to enjoy the cool evening. Loved the morning breakfast drop offs at our door. Would definitely stay again. "
"Terrific location to thoroughly enjoy Carmel by the Sea! The only downsize is the limited parking offered at the hotel. There are only about 8 spots, so we ventured to the side streets to find parking of our rental. We would definitely stay there again!"
"Cute little property with nice outside fire pits and great hot tub. Room was cozy and loved the breakfast each morning in the lobby. Staff was super friendly and accommodating, especially Anne. Walkable to everything in town. "
