"This well cared for and clean establishment has a comfortable friendly atmosphere. The 2 of us and our dog stayed 2 nights. We all enjoyed our cottage, slept well, and walked around the grounds. We prefer slow mornings, like our coffee and eat lightly in the morning, so was very happy with the morning coffee station, complementally coffee, plus some specialty coffees and breakfast snacks available for a fee. Our overly confident small dog liked meeting the other dogs that were often about. Everyone, staff and the other guests were friendly."

"This is a large facility and we were fortunate to have a 4th floor room which has a nice (partial) view of the ocean. We were within walking distance of downtown Carmel which was very helpful; we could leave the car parked in front of the room. The room was comfortably large, not cramped at all. We liked having a luggage rack for both of us--that doesn't usually happen. The breakfast was very nice--both hot and cold foods. Being on the 4th floor, an elevator was extremely helpful."
