We loved the area but had to check out early due to the. Noise from the SeaLions on the beach below our window. 24/7 loud barking. Manager said it was unusual since they have never been there so gave us a refund for the unused nights. We were able book a beautiful motel in Carmel so very fortunate all around. Thanks to the manager for being flexible.

This was the perfect location for us! Right next to a beach, in between Cannery Row and Fisherman's Warf. Tons of shops, restaurants, things to see and do. 10 minute easy walk to the aquarium. Parking is covered and cheep for the area. The room was nice and clean. The view from the balcony was captivating. Binoculars in our room were used several times to check out otters, sea lions, pelicans, etc. Breakfast was a nice standard continental, and there were cookies in the afternoon. The sounds of the ocean and wild life were great, I miss that not living near the ocean anymore. Yes there is noise from wild life and people in the area, yes the parking spaces are a little tight, yes the mattress was a little on the firm side. But location, location, location.

The property had amazing views of the harbor and bay but the most outstanding part for us honestly was the check in process I know this is not normally a big point for most people when searching for a place to stay but the staff at the front desk was friendly welcoming very kind and offered many suggestions of things to do and see would definitely stay again just based on that experience

They refunded our stay. The sea lion noise was unbearable. The coych was dirty and stained. How can they continue to charge for rooms not up to par and with the noise! They did offer to move us. Staff said the noise is everywhere in the hotel. Very dissapointing. That was oyr favorite place to stay. Sadly no longer.

Our stay was amazing and the staff was great! Dennis was specifically the one that helped us throughout our stay and he made us feel welcomed and comfortable! The location is amazing and the seals were sooo cute!!! It was an extra touch to an amazing weekend! My only suggestion is for the Hotel itself and that it needs some upgrades to building. For example, the doors to the balconies were old and we struggled to close. Also, there’s no A/C and our room kept getting hot so we used the “store bought” fan they kindly provided.

Bed was firm and comfortable. Sheets felt good to touch. Good amount of pillows with different firmness. Good supply of soft towels in spacious bathroom.Room service is good and prompt, continental breakfast got delivered within 1 minute of requested delivery time. Most parking is under the building and tight, some accessible from driveway side on outside of building including 2 handicap spots. I saw one charging station also. Full size extended cabin pickup trucks do not fit in spots under the building. There is good number of sea lions living on the beach on the inland side of the hotel and making noise. Light sleepers should ask for room on opposite side of the hotel. I recommend this hotel and I will return here on my next trip.
