Best hotel I have stayed at in New York from the staff to the gym to the small details they really go above and beyond. It’s pricy but you really are getting a luxury modern experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Steps from LGA, shuttles very 20 minutes, clean, very comfortable beds and great amenities- caters to travelers and the have thought of everything

Returned to the Peninsula after a few years' hiatus (I had an issue last time). It is an excellent place to stay if you want to be in upper Midtown. The prices can be quite punchy, but the restaurant and bar are not as mind-boggling as some, and you are getting a top notch product. The staff were friendly and helpful, and in the main not as overbearingly stuffy or as synthetically gushing as you sometimes find in similar hotels. It has a great location (5th/55th) so very handy for MoMA,...

After a rocky start the reception team excelled themselves and moved us to a better room. The concierge were also first class booking our itinerary. Overall a very good stay in New York after an equally good stay at the Mayfair Hotel last year.

Lovely views from our room. Great check in staff that upgraded us to the top floor and added complimentary wifi - great welcome! Hotel was lovely only criticism is that it was so expensive to eat there.

After a disappointing initial check in experience where I was greeted at midnight by a rather unfriendly member of check in staff, the next day my request for a better room was obliged by a kind new staff member. Since I was staying five nights, I was given a room on the 7th floor with nicer views and which was in better condition than the initial one on 3rd floor.
The hotel is very well located for walking or getting the metro to other parts of the city. I walked to Brooklyn bridge and also...

Staff were friendly and accomodating, the breakfast is very generous, the waffles made on the spot was a nice touch. Water pressure in the showers was great and the room was clean. Thanks for also holding my luggage for a few hours after check out since I have a late night Flight. Jocelyn, Willie and Valentine were great.
