"The hotel, being where it is, the age of the installations, and the price is excellent. But do not expect LARGE bedrooms, or a fully new bedroom (but the bathroom actually was quite new). If there is something against is that is noisy, and not from the street. The elevator, the bathroom fan, the a/c. But again, to be DOWNTOWN, I found it excellent"

"Lovely property. It’s not just a boxy room but former small residences from 1926 so our had a mini kitchenette and nice bath and makeup area. They have a bar/restaurant and separate cafe. The food was good quality and the prices were ok. The bar/restaurant is a great smaller 1920s style space that’s great for relaxing. The staff was very courteous and helpful. It’s ala very convenient to George Washington university, a food hall, Whole Foods and a number of restaurants. Parking on the weekend wasn’t too bad as you could valet or park in a nearby self park garage. "

"This hotel has a great location. My room was super clean with great bed linens and fluffy towels. There is a small kitchen that I did not use but it was lovely. My king size bed was very comfortable. I would stay again."

"When we arrived the staff was nice but our room did not have body wash, lotion, Kleenex or coffee pods. The staff brought up these things. The other bigger problem was the room was on the second floor above the Cuban restaurant and bar. It was very loud until 12:30 am both nights. We mentioned it both nights. We asked about a higher room but were told that there were no other rooms. I would not stay there again due to the loud noise of the restaurant/bar. We needed to go to bed and get up early so this was BIG disappointment. It was not clear when booking. "

"We loved our stay! We wanted to be within walking distance of many downtown attractions without having to sacrifice comfort, cleanliness or safety. We also didn’t need to overpay for a room we were only planning to sleep in. This place is GREAT!! Highly recommend. Our room wasn’t large but it had everything we needed. The mattresses were very comfy. The staff were EXTREMELY helpful & kind. Great bars(2) on premises. It checked all our needs for our DC stay"
