This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood within blocks of George Washington University. The hotel is a little dated, but the rooms are spacious and have everything you could want. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and happy to help with anything. I would definitely stay here again especially as a family.

My third time staying at the River inn. It’s in a great location, walking distance to the metro, restaurants and 2 grocery stores. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Rooms and lobby are always clean. Will stay here again on my next trip to DC.

We always enjoy our stays at The River Inn. One huge perk for us is that it is pet friendly with no extra fee. Walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s and great shopping in Georgetown. Each room has a full kitchen too.
