"The staff were nice and accommodating. I stayed there for 12 nights. The bed was comfortable, and the single room was large. I noticed things in need of repair being overlooked. The rods were off the curtains and just lying on the windowsill as though someone didn't know how to fix this simple thing. Also, the coat rack was coming down off the wall on one end. Another easy fix but neglected. I've stayed here before a couple years ago when it was the Bethel Inn. I hope this isn't one of those hotels someone buys and then it continues to go downhill from there. I had to tell the staff about the outside trash can overflowing and been that way for a few days. They did take care of it right away. Emergency light on the 3rd floor was broken. I plan on coming back next year for my granddaughter's graduation. I hope they start repairing some of these things. I have worked in maintenance before at some condominiums and again these are all easy fixes."

"The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The only two things that could be improved were the breakfast, it was only cereal, toast, and bagels, and the bed was pretty hard."

"This is just a stop while driving across Tennessee heading to NC. Normally, I’d be very skeptical to stay because of the name but this place was clean, quiet, and overall a great night sleep. This is on my list of places to stay now. "

"This is a none expensive kind of hotel. The from desk friendly and those staying at the time I was there too. Room was very clean, had micro coffee maker fridge and air conditioning worked well and good lighting. Bed was comfortable TV had cable & movie channels. There is no luxury here but for the price you cant go wrong. It's close to food restaurants ice-cream parlor Wal-Mart pharmacy and automotive stores. Close to museums, waterfalls coal mine rivers forests and attractions in Tennessee and Kentucky area. I will stay here again. You make your stay what you want it to be. I made my stay here a great one!"

"Great stay overall, other then losing power and no back up generator."

"The manager did everything he could to make our stay good. If we had needed it, he even offered to help us get our things to our room. He was friendly and courteous. The motel was quiet and the breakfast was good."

"Everything was top notch from check in to departure. Phil upgraded our room so we could get a better view of the lake which was amazing. The restaurant had a great view of the lake and was priced very reasonable. We will be planning another trip to this location in the future."
