First and foremost, The owner of the property threatened me verbally through my private number after I left a review on google. -The staff here is absolutely terrible. -It was difficult to find someone to greet us upon arrival. -Our sheets that were stained never got changed in 4 days even after complaining. -There was a half eaten icecream frozen in our fridge, that also never got cleaned even after complaing about it. -The wifi did not work for 2 days, and when it did it would cut on and off. -The shower was absolutely disgusting and had black marks, mold im assuming.. -Also the shower head was broken and kept falling over. -Our towels were stained. Lastly they advertised free parking but it is merely street parking that gets crammed and your car will even get blocked in.

First of all, it embarrasses us to respond to such a ridiculous and false, slanderous comment. it's true that this person stayed at our hotel. but all the problems started after that. refrigerator, air conditioner, television, wifi all working properly. The room is cleaned every day and the linens are changed. This person has another purpose. On the 2nd day of his stay at the hotel, he wrote a similar false comment to Google. When we saw this, we asked him why he wrote such a comment. If there is a problem, we said, you are here, we are here, we can fix it. but its purpose is different. He asked us to bribe him to remove the comment. If you give me a refund or hash, I will remove this comment. We said that we would report this illegal situation to the police. on top of that, this person left the hotel and is now writing these kind of baseless comments. He gave us his private number, he said, "Let's chat on WhatsApp, I will write you my requests." we even have proof of these correspondences. We certainly did not threaten him. Please do not trust these posts. Our good reviews and rating in the past will be proof of that.

Perfect place and location.
Enjoyed stay at this place. Owners are very welcoming and accomodating, we stayed for 4 days and got upgraded to deluxe rooms. View from rooftop are beautiful. It was just as advertised. Breakfast is also very good but juices need improvement. Also if you bring your car make sure to tell the front desk that you'll need to go out so no one blocks your way. Would love to stay again and recommend to everyone who wants to stay at walking distance from blue mosque.

Great location - close to all the Sultanahmet sites. Really nice breakfast and great little patio to eat it looking right at Little Sofia Mosque. Quiet! Really thoughtful staff.

There's no lift and no one carries luggage upstairs. There's no allowance given to visitors. There's no staff to facilitate the visitors, and it's an own account business. Overly priced for the services given.

Close to most of the main historical site
Great, very helpful and kind management staff. Amazing city! the hotel is near almost everything within walking distance. I recommend using the Big Bus Tour, there is a stop about 5 min from the hotel. Becareful with restaurant prices, always ask for costs before you go in.

i had a good stay. as i already mentioned the staff were great. very friendly and helpful. i asked for dinner early one evening and the food was nice. the family were eating their dinner on one side of the dining area and i was on the other side. yet it was a very homely feeling. just a couple of criticisms. i was woken up at five in the morning by singing/chanting coming from the mosque. the other thing being the owner said he'd give me an alarm call on the morning (4am0 i was checking out, but didn't. it doesn't matter. i depended on my mobile's alarm for that little matter. thank you to the hotel staff for your over-all hospitality.

We stayed there for 4 days. We enjoyed our stay very much. They do not have big buffet but they can prepare you nice breakfast per your order(no charge if included in room price). Rooms are Nice and Clean. Bathroom was Great.Nicely renovated. Excellent Friendly Staff. It is really a NICE place to stay in Istanbul.

Great tourist location
The hotel was very convenient and good value for tourists. The manager went out of his way to help us get to the airport in the snow - he arranged people to carry our luggage to the main road as we were snowed in, and waited with us until the transport arrived. The hotel is nicely decorated and the breakfast was really good and authentic. The hot water in the shower was a bit inconsistent but other than that it was a great stay. It is lacking a lounge area inside, as we met up with friends and had no where to sit and chat. There is a nice patio outside for summer. The airport shuttle was quite expensive and now I know better I will take a taxi.

Perfect hotel in Sultanahmet
This hotel was difficult for the taxi drivers to find but was in a super convenient location. Room was comfortable and nice fresh linen. Bathroom smelled a bit funky but I guess that's expected with these old buildings. Better laundry facilities would be appreciated. Great location. We walked every where and there is a tram that takes you to the newer side of the city. Staff were lovely!

I don't recommend this hotel to stay. Although the staff are friendly but the location of hotel is not good. Needs about 15 min walk to access nearest tram station. You can find better hotels for this price in Istanbul

I booked the annex room because of the picture that was advertised along, once I got there it was a different matter, dirty room, small, smell and dirty bathroom with broken shower, not good at all, then we got moved into the main building which was ok. Bad experience and I would not return there.

A jewel in the heart of Old Istanbul
This little hotel is in a quiet beautiful neighborhood just a 5 minute walk from the center of everything. The room was small but a good use of space and very nice and clean. It felt boutique. ther breakfast is served with so many choices and you have a really nice courtyard to enjoy it. the people working are helpful and have a very good demeanor. It is right by a really great little restaurant called KOS 2 with a high terrace that has an amazing view food and service.

An ancient mosque in the backyard
A walking distance from Arista Bazaar, the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia, Siesta Hotel provides also the convenience of a mosque just across the street from the breakfast patio for those who likes to experience communal prayers as part of their stay in Istanbul. It is an elegant smaller replica of Aya Sofia with beautiful garden. It also served as a landmark to make it easy for taxi drivers to know where our hotel is.The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood that also has restaurants and a grocery store. The rooms and bathrooms were recently remodeled and they can provide a family room that accommodates up to 4 persons. We enjoyed the different routs we could take from different tourists sites to walk back to the hotel and have a different experience of the city each time. You can easily reach the sea shore for a refreshing walk. Friendly staff with a smile and gentle communication skills.

Siesta a Good Hotel
We stayed 2 nights at the end of our 3 week trip at Siesta Hotel. When we arrived we stayed at a different hotel around the corner. I am glad we gave Siesta a try. Oksana met us outside when our taxi left us off. She speaks very good English. Everytime we would see her she would stop and talk to us. She would ask if everything was ok with the room. By the time we left I felt like I was saying good bye to a friend. Our room was very nice.Loved the shower.The location is great! Lots of restaurants near by. Breakfast was good also.

Clean, newly made hotel- poor on service
we stayed there on our last day in Istanbul. Although it's a newly built cute little hotel in a quiet lane, they would rank low in terms of service. The room was on fourth floor, with no elevators, and there was no one to help with out stuff at any point. Even at breakfast, a little special request was received with a flat NO Maybe it's just the lack of adequate staff, but the management really needs to aise their service levels

Fantastic Service
Hotel and staff were really good. pros: Staff very friendly, the room was huge and the beds very comfortable, close to the blue mosque and bazaar, terrace had a beautiful view. Cons: Breakfast was OK, 1 night we didnt have power for a couple of hours and 1 night we didnt have running water for a couple of hours. No lift and the rooms were noisy from the outside as it was right next the road.

The jewel of Sultanahmet
Siesta Hotel is a jewel in the Sutlanahmet area. The rooms are new and fresh, wifi is fast, everything works and the place is spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and well maintained throughout the morning. Complimentary coffee and tea were available throughout the day. Saving the best for last, the staff is professional, attentive and warm. I felt like I was staying in the home of a family member.

Overall the hotel is not bad. Stayed there for 11 days. The staff is helpful (speak Russian and English). The room was large and bright. What I would like to draw attention to. The first is the sewage system. Not a pleasant smell lasted almost the entire time of our stay. Second, monotonous breakfasts. But if you wish, they can cook scrambled eggs for you. And the cleanliness of the towels leaves much to be desired.

Ottima posizione
Albergo ben posizionato, a due minuti a piedi da piazza sultanamet, personale gentilissimo con attenzione verso il cliente e sempre sorridenti, camera confortevole con frigobar con acqua gratuita, colazione nulla di eccezionale, poca varietà, nella media. La notte si dormiva bene grazie alla tranquillità della sua posizione, non passano auto perchè è situato in una strada chiusa. La nota dolente è la pulizia della camera, cambiavano gli asciugamani e veniva rifatto il letto, nulla di più. Nemmeno il pavimento veniva lavato e ci siamo stati 8 giorni... Cmq nel complesso un buon albergo se non si hanno grosse pretese e non si vogliono spendere grosse cifre. Lo consiglierei per famiglie o coppie.

Ich bin angenehm überrascht über die Gastfreundlichkeit das Hotel schaut von außen nicht besonders aus aber es ist alles sauber es ist alles da die Betten sind bequem und die Leute vom Hotel geben sich Mühe und in Touristen weiterzuhelfen für mich war es die beste Entscheidung so ein kleines Hotel zu mieten als ein großes anonymes.

فندق عائلي قريب من المزارات التاريخية
الفندق جيد ومالكه واسرته رائعين وقدموا خدمات جيدة. الفندق يقع على شارع منخفض بالنسبة لمسجد السلطان احمد. الغرف ضيقة مثل معظم فنادق اسطنبول لكنها نظيفة ومرتبة. الفندق لا يرى البحر الا في الطابق الثالث والاخير. الافطار معقول ويلبي المتطلبات الرئيسية لوجبات الافطار. الفندق قريب جدا من المزارات التاريخية لمدينة اسطنبول وقربة من محطة ترام السلطان احمد وكذلك من محطات باص الكورنيش. بشكل عام الفندق جيد ومناسب للعائلات

Ruhige Lage mit super Ausblick und sauber
Ich habe zwei Dreibettzimmer gebucht, aber nur zwei Zimmer mit jeweils einem Doppelbett bekommen. Das dritte Bett hat gefehlt. Es war ziemlich eng.

Hübsches Hotel klein aber fein
Sehr sauberes Hotel für das Geld empfehlenswert die Zimmer sind sauber Personal sehr nett. Umgebung Touristen Umgebung Mit Meerausblick Aber kein luxus Hotel die Zimmer sind klein wie das Hotel wär ein luxus Hotel sucht soll sich ein anderes Hotel aussuchen

Zentrales aber sehr unzureichendes Aufenthalt
Wir hatten 2 familienzimmer mit 1 doppelbett und 2 einzelbetten pro Zimmer gebucht, dafür haben wir 2 Zimmer mit ein doppelbett und ein Zustellbett bekommen wir haben eib kleines zimmer bekommen das zimmer war total schmutzig in unserem 5 tage Aufenthalt wurden nur die handtücher gewechselt weder das zimmer wurde gereinigt noch die bettwäsche. Das Frühstücksbüffet war mangelhaft weder das tee noch andere lebensmittel haben ausgereicht das brot war immer vom vortag. Der absolute hAmmer war dass wir beim frühstück auf andere gäste warten mussten weil andere plätze nicht vorhanden waren. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett aber kein preis leistungsverhältniss

Lieber Gast, Am erstens wir danken ihnen sehr für ihre bewertung. 1.İn unserem haus werden die zimmer jeden tag gereinigt.Bettwaesche ,Bade und handtücher werden taeglich mit frischem gewechselt. 2. Frühstück ist zwischen 07.30 bis 10.30. Das büffet wird zeitzwischend immer frisch gewechselt.Brot und teigwaren bekommen wir taeglich frisch vom beackerei. Es wird uns freuen sie wieder in unserem haus zu sehen. Alles Gute und Herzliche grüsse aus Istanbul.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing
Eine Woche Städteurlaub in Istanbul, hier war das Siesta-Hotel der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Die Hagia-Sophia, die Blaue Moschee, die Straßenbahn in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist sauber, das Personal hilfsbereit, ein guter Ort zum Schlafen für einen Städtereisenden, der kein Luxushotel sucht, sondern eine Hotel mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in der Nähe der Sehenswürtigkeit.
