The staff were fabulous. So friendly, helpful and accomodating! We loved our view of the Bosphorous, if you can stay in the Hemingway suite on the top floor, with a private patio it’s a fabulous option. The breakfast is also the best we’ve had in Turkey… and that’s saying something because the breakfasts are great. The area is close to everything, that is good as you can walk to most things, but it’s a bit of a pushy experience walking past the local restaurants!!

We had a great experience staying at the hotel Poem. All the tourist attractions in Sultanahmet are easily accessible by walking. We couldn't appreciate enough the exceptional service and hospitality from Eren, everytime we run into him, he was welcoming and with a genuine interest in us being satisfied, and we loved his "British" accent!! Gökhan was very helpful with our check-in and he was very attentive with us getting settled. Arif, our waiter at breakfast was always with a great attitude and ready to help us. Overall we had a wonderful experience in Istanbul thanks to all the Hotel Poem staff!

Wonderful stay at Hotel Poem. Great location. Really nice room, comfortable bed and, most importantly, very clean. Staff was as nice and friendly as can be. Communication with property exceptional. Property itself is charming, full of character, and in a convenient location. Breakfasts are out-of-this-world and are prepared and served with care and courtesy. I highly recommend a superior room. I was upgraded from premium and the difference was significant in terms of materials, spaciousness, and light. A gem of a place where everyone who works there greets you with genuine warmth.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast staff especially so, big shout out to them. The chef is to be commended for his breakfast choices of the little dishes. Hotel beautiful, walking distance for everything. Very quirky hotel. Definitely would stay here again. The only niggle i can think of was that the mattress was on the hard side but thats my own personal preference.
