"Staff was very helpful. Continental breakfast included, closed promptly at 10am. The property is old and the rooms are pretty small.. we were family of 4 and had 2 double beds and there wae no moving space at all. Had selected city view but there was not much you could see. Don’t know how the other no view rooms were so I would not care next time if there was a view and pay extra. I’d rather pay for bigger room than the view. There’s no fridge fyi. Staff was very helpful and were able to suggest if we should walk or take the uber or the train, that helped us a lot for our 2 day stay. Will likely pick this one again for the price."

"We were informed at check in that there is emergency construction and that there MAYBE some noise!!! The noise was so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves talk and we all ended up with headaches! Needless to say we checked out early and moved to another hotel! It would have been nice to have been informed ahead of time. The construction had started a week before we checked in. The staff were polite and were understanding."

"The Belvedere boasts a prime location, conveniently situated near the 50th subway station. Within a mere 15-minute walk, you’ll find yourself in Times Square, Broadway theaters, and Rockefeller Plaza. This prime location offers easy access to various destinations, and the Hell’s Kitchen area is brimming with dining options. Despite its age and outdated facilities, the hotel maintains a clean and well-kept appearance throughout. While the vintage vibe may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I personally find it endearing. "

"Breakfast was NOT good. The coffee tasted like mud. I actually Spit it out. The juice was watery. The sausage and eggs were ok. The butter was hard"

"Don’t like the public park out front of the hotel, smells like urine and poop!… bums hang outside smoking drugs and cigarettes…. Staff was very nice though!!! Not much they can do but the optics are very intimidating and hostile…. Rooms were very tight and small. I would not recommend our family of three only for a single person with a one night minimum….."

"We arrived @6 to find a Hugh amount of mattresses outside the hotel one looking like some one had been shot. The hotel was crowded with workers making it difficult to get around. Fortunately it went up from there. The rooms were ok just about what you would expect in NY. The property needed some updating. The hotel was very crowded and made using the elevator difficult @times. The best part was the breakfast. Cesar (who handled it) was great, friendly and really helpful. Overall I’d give this a 7 out of ten. Not bad but not great either."
