25hours Hotel Florence Piazza San Paolino
We stayed in room 406. Beautifully decorated room with plenty of unexpected surprises. The bar was amazing as was the dining area and lounge by reception. This was a very quirky, well run hotel. The only disappointment was the breakfast. We tried it once and then ate out every morning.

Hotel Santa Maria Novella
This was our second stay at Maria Novella and we love it there but while we were there there was a soccer game in town, Florence against a team from London. We had a suite overlooking the piazza and for two nights until about midnight the fans from the London team were at the bar two floors down ...
