I had asked her whether the extra guest room I had booked had been cancelled; she told me at the time that the room had indeed been cancelled, and that the Holiday Inn had charged only for one night's stay, while the charges for the remaining nights would be refunded to the credit card I originally used for payment. However, the very next day, their manager informed me that the charges for both nights were non-refundable and that the Holiday Inn had fully charged me for the entire two-night stay. The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy; I had to turn it off at night, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep at all. The floor lamp wasn't working either. After I called the front desk, someone came to repair it and assured me it was fixed; however, about half an hour later, the light went out again."

"There wasn’t a waffle maker but other than that, a good breakfast. Comfy bed, quiet room, friendly staff. They are making efforts to be more environmentally conscious. We’d highly recommend it. "

"The hotel was beautiful, however the area wasn't great. It was kinda sketchy with the 7 blocks of homeless only about 5 blocks away. Tried to walk the area but didn't feel safe. The room was updated and very clean, the restaurant food was very good. It was away from most sights, had to Uber everywhere. They were in the middle of a huge remodel so when is finished it will be better yet."

"The room was stinky when I entered it although overall clean and presentable. I woke up in the morning with one of the groundskeepers peeking in the window of my room as I was on the ground floor so that was a little concerning!"
