We will definitely be back! The coffee machine broke on our last day there and they gave us free coffee at the coffee shop on the main level!! The massage chairs were also highly appreciated!

I enjoyed my comfortable stay at this hotel on top of the Christine Sinclair Centre. i wish i discovered the 4th floor "lounge" with free continental breakfast one day one. will likely stay again.

Really well thought out combining a City owned Hotel into a daycare setting and public health club facility with soccer ptiches. Wow, very forward thinking for a multi use building for the Public. Brand new, other than a few minor hitches with the install plumbing of the room, a very pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet.

Perfect for location during my daughters skating competition At scotia barn rink:) just 3 mins away or can even walk. Closed to shopping malls and restaurants. Except hard to find parking too busy because it's connected to recreation.

Very rare that I will give 5-stars to a hotel, but I have to on this one. Driving up you maybe confused because it's an amazing sports complex, but also a hotel with access to all amenities. Parking for my over height truck was safe, check in took seconds, and the cleanest facility from the pkg lot to the 5th floor. Room was mint, amazing, and the layouts are perfect. Slept amazing!

Room was so clean and for the price we were so suprised at the quality of the room! Most hotel rooms have an iron and ironing board, they had a steamer! Brand new one! Staff was kind and helpful. Free refreshments. We loved our stay and will be back for sure.

We arrived to discover we had been provided a complimentary upgrade, so the stay started very well! The facilities looked brand new and everything was very clean. The front desk receptionist was professional and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation recommending it to others. My only suggestion is to provide a full-length mirror in the room.

Hotel Burnaby is a rather unique property; it's a community centre and massive fitness centre on floors 1 & 2, and a city operated hotel on floors 3 -5. The hotel is spotlessly clean with very modern decor, room was equipped with a portable air conditioner set up for cooling. Amenities include use of the fitness facilities, the fourth floor lounge is well stocked for guests with free beverages, fruit, baked goods and yogurt parfaits and free parking (which can get quite full during the day, however). Location is very central to most of Metro Vancouver and is situated in a fairly quiet area, despite being quite close to the highway. A great, clean place with good rates for independent travelers to stay!

Central to The Burnaby, new West, Kingsway area. A surprising accommodation built above a newer community centre with great facilities. Rooms were very modern and extremely clean. Bedding and the bed were fantastic! Also, the desk staff were really incredible and helpful. They made lots of helpful suggestions and continued to offer their assistance should I need anything. I’ll definitely be staying in the hotel the next time I need to travel there!

The staff was super friendly and helpful with my very late check in. The room was absolutely amazing! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I had forgotten my charger for my phone and the bedside lamp had a USB-C cable that I could use to charge it. The only issue was the sewage smell that came from the drain in the middle when any of the other rooms would flush their toilets. I let the staff know about the issue before I checked out.

​We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Burnaby! The rooms were exceptionally spacious, clean, and comfortable. Even though the location is a bit outside the main city center, it is 100% worth it for the price and overall value. ​Being situated in the community center complex is a huge plus—having access to the gym and facilities was super convenient. What made the stay extra special was the incredible service. The reception staff were so welcoming and nice. Even though it wasn't officially included in our booking, they kindly provided complimentary snacks and breakfast, which was an amazing touch! ​Minor Suggestion for Improvement: It would be great to have a full-length or extra mirror added inside the bedroom area itself, as the only mirror was in the bathroom. Having one in the main room would make getting ready much easier. ​Overall, a wonderful stay with incredible hospitality. We’d happily stay here again!

Very nice, super clean, very new. Comfy bed, nice bathroom gestures and lovely complimentary soft drinks and snacks in the shared space. I missed having no tea/coffee facilities in the hotel room. There were no cups/glasses either to be able to drink water. It would be fab to add those things to the rooms with creamers so that you don't need to get dressed to go get a coffee. A full length mirror would also be a great addition. Overall great as very comfy & quiet to relax in!

The staff were amazingly supportive and kind. Jimmy the manager was great! The receptionists were very friendly. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, cozy with a lot of features. I enjoyed my stay so much!
